Why this exists

Pinterest is a shopping surface that rewards volume and consistency, and its bulk import expects a CSV in a very specific eight-column shape. Producing that by hand for a few hundred products is a day of copy-paste, so most stores either post a handful of pins by hand or skip Pinterest entirely. PinApp turns the whole job into a few clicks against the catalog you already have.

What it actually does

  1. Pick the products — individually, or a whole collection at a time.
  2. Map them to Pinterest's eight CSV columns; PinApp fills the mapping in from your product data.
  3. Optionally let the AI write descriptions, titles, and keywords, and schedule the pins across a date range.
  4. Preview and validate, then download a CSV that Pinterest will accept on the first try.

Templates are the point

The first export is the slow one. Save it as a template — with variables and conditional rules — and the next campaign, the next collection, and next season's drop are all a few seconds of work. Free includes one template; Pro and Business are unlimited.

Your data stays in Shopify

PinApp runs inside your Shopify admin. There's no separate account to create, no Pinterest login to hand over, and your product data isn't stored on our servers — the app reads your catalog and hands you a file.

PinApp is a self-serve app, not part of an agency engagement. Install it, use the free tier, and upgrade only if you outgrow it.

Common questions

Does PinApp post to Pinterest for me?

No — it produces the CSV that Pinterest's own bulk import accepts. That means you never hand over Pinterest credentials, and you keep full control of what actually gets published and when.

Is the free plan actually usable?

Yes. Free forever covers up to 10 products per export, 3 exports a month, one saved template, all eight CSV columns, and validation and preview — plus one Pro export so you can try the paid features before deciding.

How does the AI writing work?

On the Business plan, PinApp writes pin descriptions, titles, and trending keywords from your product data, tuned for how people search on Pinterest. It's capped at 200 generations a month, and you can edit anything it produces before exporting.

What happens to my product data?

It stays in Shopify. The app runs inside your admin, reads your catalog to build the file, and doesn't store product data externally or require any outside login.
